Born in the United States the software engineer and computer scientist moved to the Netherlands in 2009 and founded Hackers & Founders Amsterdam, a community of entrepreneurs and programmers.

Henning Weiss
Co-Founder

Grown up in a hotel, Heninng is an expert for sophisticated hospitality: Over ten years Henning was responsible for the development of 25hours Hotels and their products.

Board Member

Christian is the Head of Company Building at our partner Forward31, a division of Porsche. He is actively involved in building the future of THE EMBASSIES.

Elena Walder Schiavone
Board Member

After several years in large M&A teams of renowned law firms, she started her own company, SMART UP LAW, specialising in legal advice to start-ups. Today Elena is Managing Partner at Übermorgen Ventures in Zurich and a member of the board.

Sophie Sadler
VP Finance

Previously responsible for the Controlling and Treasury of a portfolio containing 30+ hotels incl. real estate developments, investment properties, holdings and hotel operating companies at Art-Invest. Previously director of finance at Hotel Adlon Kempinski.
